Reel Borders studies how borders are imagined through film

Reel Borders at Agents of Concern

How can images spark engagement, empathy and action? As a research project that uses the visual to understand how border imaginations and experiences are shaped, we are happy to be part of the Agents of Concern: Images and Empathy exhibition in Hasselt, Belgium. Combining international scholars and artists, the exhibition examines how “images affect our emotional and cognitive understanding of the experiences and mental states of others”.

Reel Borders will be features in Exhibition I starting on November 16 at 14:00 at the PXL-MAD Gallery in Hasselt. The exhibition will last until December 15 and is open for visits from Monday-Friday, 13:00-18:00.To read more about Agents of Concern, click here.
