Book launch at Film Fest Gent
On 13 October ‘22, Reel Borders coordinator Kevin Smets presented his book during a ‘Talkie’ at Film Fest Gent, Belgium’s largest international film festival. The panel was moderated by Patrick Duynslaegher. Two filmmakers joined Kevin during the presentation to share their views on film history: Nina de Vroome and Academy Award-nominee Stijn Coninx. The book offers a broad and inclusive overview of film history, written in Dutch, and also contains references to the Reel Borders case studies. More information about the book can be found here.
