Les Voyageurs (The Travelers) by David Bingong was screened at KASKcinema in Ghent as part of the Europalia programme. Irene Gutiérrez-Torres and David Bingong presented the film, followed by a Q&A moderated by Lennart Soberon.

Europalia is one of Belgium’s major international arts biennials, bringing together visual arts, performing arts, film, music, literature, and debate across Belgium and neighbouring countries. Its 2025 edition, Europalia España (October 2025 –February 2026) through a multidisciplinary programme engaging with Spanish culture, history, and contemporary artistic practices. We are very proud that David’s film was included in this programme to introduce a necessary and unsettling perspective on the Moroccan-Spanish borders. The screening at KASK offered an important opportunity to place David’s work in conversation with broader debates on the role of filmmaking, mobility, provate archives, memory, and the politics of representation.
