Reel Border Shorts screenings at the Nerve Centre, NI




On the 13th of April 2024, our Reel Border participatory filmmaking short “Crossing Lines” by Margaret Gordon was screened at the Nerve Centre theatre in Derry. As part of the event “Reel Lives: Community Archives, an initiative of the Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Archive”, three other titles accompanied our film, all highlighting stories of the NI community using archives. “Our” filmmakers Maggie Gordon, Seamus Gordon, Michael McMonagle, and Diana Cheung were amongst the audience and discussed the film during the Q&A afterwards. After the screenings were done, “Crossing Lines” was deemed the audience favourite of the event.
