Research seminar at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Framing borders: “reel” imaginaries in a borderred world
On 5 September 2024, Kevin Smets and Silvia Almenara-Niebla were invited to lead a seminar on visual methods in border research, as part of the series of seminars organised by the EUR clusters on Popular Culture and Inequalities and Visual Research. More than 20 participants joined the seminar, which focused on the exchange of experiences with visual and participatory research in the framework of the project. The seminar was part of a short research stay organised by Prof. Amanda Alencar, where Kevin, Silvia and Amanda worked together on writing an article that will be part of a special issue on collaborative methodologies in mobility research.
