Presentation at the Conference Migration and Societal Change.




On June 23, 2023, Silvia Almenara-Niebla participated at the Conference Migration and Societal Change at Utrecht University. She was part of the panel Digital theories and methodologies from the South(s) chaired by Claudia Minchilli and Sandra Ponzanesi. In her presentation, Emotional Geographies of Migration: Perspectives from the EU’s Outermost regions, she highlighted the importance of focusing on Southern Europe to understand emotional practices related to pro-migration activism.
