The Reel Borders team participated in the ECREA Diaspora, Migration and the Media & International and Intercultural Communication Sections Conference “Beyond Borders: Creative Methods and Reflexive Approaches to Migration, Media, and Intercultural Dialogue” at Tallinn University, Estonia (16–18 September 2025), where we presented the panel “Reel Borders: reflections on a collaborative and interdisciplinary research project.” During the session, each team member shared concrete findings from their research outcomes. The panel benefited from critical and constructive feedback by discussants Prof. Amanda Alencar and Prof. Ilke Şanlier, who highlighted the project’s methodological contributions and raised key questions about ethics, representation, and collaboration in border research.
