Research Day. Visual and Participatory Research Methods in Migration Research
On 5 May 2022, Reel Borders coordinator Kevin Smets was invited to lead a workshop on visual and participatory research methods in migration research, as part of a research day dedicated to ‘Visual, spatial & affective participatory research methods’. He led the workshop together with Olga Petintseva (Ghent University). Over 20 participants joined the workshop, which focused on exchanging experiences with visual and participatory research. The research day was a joint innitiative of BIRMM, EDGE, CESSMIR and CeMIS at took place at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. More information can be found here.
