L'Atalante Revista de Estudios Cinematográficos has published a discussion in its section (Dis)agreements in which Miguel Fernández Labayen and Elena Oroz reflect on the role of visual archives in migration research together with scholars from different international projects . The Reel Borders team took part in this discussion, highlighting the role of films in the production of migration archives.

Through different questions, Kevin Smets, Irene Gutiérrez, Lennart Soberon and Silvia Almenara-Niebla reflect on the main objectives of the project and the challenges associated to audiovisual research from theoretical and methodological perspectives.
